Wellness Mountain Resort Open for Activities Year Round
"Lotte Arai Resort" occupies an expansive site of approximately one million tsubo in Myoko City, Niigata, with four buildings housing a total of 257 guest rooms. During the green season, a variety of activities are available, while the snow season offers winter sports amid abundant snowfall and powder. Year-round activities include a "zipline," "zip tour," and pool. A shuttle bus operates between JR Joetsumyoko Station and the hotel, and free dedicated parking is available. The surrounding area also offers numerous spots for both seaside and mountain sports.

The Standard "Superior"

Five room types are available—Double, Twin, Family Twin, Triple, and Family Triple—suitable for family trips and ski travel. Wooden lattice windows and interiors enhance the atmosphere of a wellness mountain resort.

"Deluxe" Designed for Spacious and Unhurried Stays

The "Deluxe" evokes the atmosphere of a European resort hotel. Soft indirect lighting and dark-toned interiors create a calm setting that sets daily bustle aside, offering a quiet retreat-like stay.

"Suite Room" Designed for Memorable and Special Occasions

Suite options include the Deluxe Suite, Corner Suite, Premier Suite, and Presidential Suite, each featuring luxurious design and modern facilities. These suites provide an elegant setting suited to special occasions.

"Character" - Playful Decor and Bright Colors Fill the Room

A guest room created in collaboration with Lotte’s popular brand "Koala’s March." Beds, cushions, wallpaper, and amenities feature characters March-kun and Waltz-chan. Two types are available: Family Twin and Family Triple.

"Hoshizora Onsen" with Natural Waters Known for Smooth Skin

"Hoshizora Onsen (starry sky)," drawn from approximately 1,750 meters underground, is a hypotonic, mildly alkaline hot spring known for its gentle feel on the skin and high moisture-retaining qualities. A rock bath is also set in the open-air area, and a mist sauna is available in the women’s bath.

"Hoshizora Pool" with Both Indoor and Outdoor Areas

The indoor heated pool, available year-round, measures approximately 22m in length, 7m in width, and about 1.1m in average depth, offering space for both children and adults. From mid-July to early September, a two-level outdoor garden pool is also open.

"SPA MANNA" for Relaxation of Mind and Body

This comprehensive relaxation facility includes a spa, sauna, indoor bath, and open-air bath. The spa menu includes access to all facilities along with a drink and sweets service, offering a holistic approach that supports relaxation for both body and mind.

The library offers a calm setting for time with books. A wide selection of titles invites exploration, and personal books may also be brought in for reading, creating a quiet experience distinct from outdoor activities.

"Mt. Okenashi" Known for One of Japan’s Deepest Snowfalls

At Mount Okenashi, with an elevation of 1,429 meters and views that extend to the Sea of Japan on clear days, the ski area features a vertical drop of approximately 951 meters and a longest run of about 7,000 meters. A snow activity area is also available where visitors can experience playing in the snow.
