Located away from the main building, the annex offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere and is entirely non-smoking. It features two types of Western-style rooms—single and twin—each furnished with 120 cm-wide Simmons beds for a restful and comfortable stay.

Each offers a distinct ambiance for a relaxing soak that suits every occasion.

The waters of Kami-Suwa Onsen, known for their abundant flow, are clear, gentle, and smooth on the skin. Across the main building and annex, a total of eleven bathing facilities—including large public baths, private baths, and saunas—offer a variety of ways to experience the hot spring’s soothing qualities straight from the source.

The barrier-free private bath features a ramped entrance for wheelchair access. A removable rotating bath board and handrails are installed beside the bathtub and toilet for added safety. The spacious layout ensures smooth and comfortable assistance.

For dinner, three options are available depending on the plan, including two types of Japanese cuisine: the "Japanese Kaiseki" served in the main dining room, and the inn’s signature "Shunsai Kaiseki" served in the Lake View Restaurant. Guests can also savor hand-made Shinshu soba noodles, a local specialty.

Breakfast is served buffet-style, featuring around 50 Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes prepared with local Shinshu ingredients. Highlights include freshly made rice balls and tamagoyaki (rolled omelets), along with many handmade dishes created "with care to start the day on a healthy note."

Hot Spring-Heated Bedrock Bath Offering Deep Relaxation

The bedrock bathing room "Kisekido" is made with the utmost care, using radium ore that is said to have negative ion effects. There are also 14 unisex baths that couples can use, and 14 women-only baths.

Radon Bath Enriched with the Benefits of Radium Ore

The radon bath "Onsekido," which uses radium ore known as "Kiseki" (rare stone), is another popular facility. About 700 kilograms of radium ore sourced from the historic spa town of Bad Gastein in Austria are placed at the center of the bath, allowing guests to fully experience the mineral’s natural healing properties.
