Enjoy Breathtaking Panoramic Views from 900 Meters Above Sea Level
This resort hotel, situated in the lush nature of the Amagi Plateau, is renowned for its breathtaking views. The spacious communal bath, drawing its waters from Okawa Onsen at the entrance to the Higashi Izu hot spring area, features expansive windows overlooking Mount Fuji, Atami, and the Seisho coastline. Immersing in the soothing waters while enjoying this panoramic scenery is said to refresh both body and mind. The bath area also includes a dry sauna and a mist sauna, both maintained at around 90°C. From the mist sauna, guests can enjoy a mesmerizing view of Mount Fuji across Suruga Bay—an unforgettable sight.

Guest Room

Luxurious Guest Room with Spectacular View

The interior design and furnishings are thoughtfully coordinated to reflect the gentle beauty and warmth of the surroundings, in perfect harmony with the serene views of Mount Fuji and the Amagi Mountains visible from every guest room. This refined space invites unhurried relaxation while taking in the magnificent scenery.

Concept Room "Camping Room"

The hotel is equipped with three concept rooms designed based on unique themes. The "Camping Room" offers the feeling of an outdoor retreat in a highland forest. Trees and wooden accents fill the space, while the bedroom, inspired by a log cabin, creates a warm and rustic atmosphere.

Concept Room "Book and Music Room"

Born from the idea of creating a place in the Amagi Plateau where guests can lose themselves in the world of books, this room offers a tranquil retreat lined with shelves of books and vinyl records. As gentle music from the record player fills the air, it is the perfect setting to unwind with a good read.

Stay with Your Beloved Dog or Cat in the Pet Room

These maisonette-style rooms are located in a separate building and come in two types: a "Japanese-Western" room with a Western-style space on the first floor and a Japanese-style room on the second, and an all-Western room with both floors in "Western style". Each provides a relaxing resort stay where guests can comfortably spend time with their beloved pets.

Spa

Large Public Bath with Panoramic Glass Windows Overlooking Mt. Fuji

The large public bath features expansive glass windows offering a magnificent view of Mount Fuji. Guests can relax in the spacious tub while soaking in the hot spring water drawn from Okawa Onsen, located at the gateway to the Higashiizu hot spring resort. The water temperature is maintained at around 41°C (106°F), providing the perfect warmth for a soothing bath.

Feel Refreshed Through the Totonou Sauna Ritual

The large public bath is equipped with a dry sauna at approximately 90°C (about 194°F) and a mist sauna offering a breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji across Suruga Bay. The view is said to be so captivating that guests find it hard to look away. A cold bath maintained at around 15°C (about 59°F) is also available, providing the perfect way to experience the soothing "totonou" sensation (a meditative state of relaxation after alternating between hot and cold baths).

Cuisine

Restaurant Swasant, Renowned for Its Exquisite Course Menu

The restaurant serves refined course meals crafted with the bounty of Izu’s mountains and sea. Options include a traditional "Japanese kaiseki course" that reflects the beauty of Japan’s four seasons, a "French course" featuring both meat and seafood, and a "Japanese-Western fusion course" blending the delicacy of Japanese cuisine with the sophistication of French gastronomy.

Buffet Restaurant "Sanctuary"

“Cent Quarante” serves Japanese and Western buffets for both dinner and breakfast, featuring a variety of seasonal flavors. The dinner buffet offers around 40 dishes, including seasonal fish carpaccio, meat dishes, sushi, and desserts.

Location

A Resort Nestled in the Nature-Rich Amagi Plateau

Located within "Amagi Tokyu Resort," often referred to as the "Karuizawa of Izu," the hotel sits in a highland area where wild deer can occasionally be spotted. The surrounding Amagi Mountains are rich in underground water, and the clear streams that flow from them are used for wasabi cultivation.

Marvel at the Glittering Night Sky from 900 Meters Up

"Hotel Harvest Amagi Kogen" stands at an altitude of approximately 900m. Rooms on the Numazu side offer sweeping views of Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji, while those facing the Amagi Mountains provide a breathtaking starry sky unobstructed by city lights.

Exciting Outdoor Activities to Connect with Nature

"Amagi Tokyu Resort" also offers a wide range of activity facilities, including Amagi Sky Adventure, an athletic park designed for both adults and children, and Amagi Kogen Golf Course, which features a dynamic layout that takes full advantage of the surrounding nature.
