Guest Room

Panoramic Scenery from One of Hakone's Highest Points

The inn's highlights are its panoramic views from one of Hakone's highest elevations and its spacious guest rooms. Every room offers mountain views of Hakone's majestic outer rim, with changing scenery from morning to evening and crisp mountain air.

Guest Rooms to Match Every Travel Style

The intimate eight-room inn offers a quiet, home-like atmosphere. Three room types are available: the standard "Western-Style Twin," "Japanese-Style Twin," and spacious 30m² "Japanese-Style Twin DX."

A Calm Retreat with Spacious Interiors

All room types offer spacious interiors measuring at least 12 tatami mats and are furnished in calm color tones. The "Western-Style Twin" includes a living area by the window, offering a relaxed setting to admire the scenery after a bath.

Spa

100% Flowing Owakudani Source Hot Spring

The baths feature 100% free-flowing hot spring water drawn directly from the Owakudani source. The rich, milky-white water warms the body deeply. With only a small number of guest rooms, the bathing area is often uncrowded, providing a relaxed setting for a leisurely soak.

Silky "Beauty Hot Spring" Waters

Gora, one of Hakone's leading hot spring areas, has 46 hot spring sources, with temperatures reaching 95°C (203°F). The inn's water is classified as an acidic calcium-magnesium sulfate-chloride spring and is said to warm the body deeply and leave the skin feeling smooth.

Cuisine

Vibrant Seasonal Starters Full of Flavor

Original Japanese cuisine features an abundance of seasonal ingredients, with careful attention given to the tableware and presentation. Appetizers showcase the colors of each season, while an aperitif complements each dish, presented for appreciation by both sight and palate.

Signature "Green Onion Pork Shabu-Shabu"

The inn's signature "Green Onion Pork Shabu-Shabu" features the branded "Hakone Sanroku Pork" and locally grown vegetables. A generous amount of green onion is added to a refined Kyoto-style broth, then slices of pork are gently swished through the broth once the onions have softened.

Dishes Showcasing the Finest Seasonal Ingredients

Both breakfast and dinner are served in the dining room. Breakfast features a tray of Kyoto-style obanzai dishes and a soy milk hot pot, while dinner offers the signature "Green Onion Pork Shabu-Shabu Course," prepared with seasonal ingredients selected from appropriate regions, including Kanagawa-branded pork and green onions grown in the Hakone foothills.

Location

A Peaceful Hilltop Stay as a Hakone Base

The inn is conveniently located near Sengokuhara Onsen and Owakudani, approximately a 7-minute walk from Sounzan Station on the Hakone Tozan Cable Car, providing easy access to sightseeing throughout Hakone. Despite this convenient location, the surrounding hillside is quiet, offering a calm and restful stay.

Nearby Access to Hakone's Popular Destinations

Gora offers a wide range of attractions, including "Hakone Gora Park," the "Hakone Open-Air Museum," the "Hakone Venetian Glass Museum," and the "Pola Museum of Art." Gora's signature "Daimonji-yaki" and fireworks, viewed from the hillside, are also seasonal highlights of summer.
