A Modern Inn That Melds Seamlessly with the Board Room's Natural Surroundings
A small hot spring inn with only 8 rooms, located in Itamuro Onsen, a village of atmospheric hot springs. Although it is a stylish modern building, the space is based on Japanese themes and provides a relaxing atmosphere. The guest rooms are all uniquely designed, using materials such as diatomaceous earth and Tosa washi paper to give you the warmth of wood. All rooms are attractive, including those with cypress view baths and inner balconies. The natural hot springs, which have been popular as medicinal baths since ancient times, are also a pleasure. Let's enjoy the rich benefits of the water flowing directly from the source without adding any water or heating. Our Japanese course meals are made with local produce for local consumption and sprinkled with seasonal flavors, and have a gentle taste that will touch your heart.

Guest Room

"Kaede" and "Momiji" with a View Bath Made Entirely of Cypress Wood

The most popular are "Kaede" and "Momiji." A bathtub made of Japanese cypress is placed in the board room where you can see the mountain scenery, and you can enjoy the natural hot spring water flowing directly from the source without any addition of water or heating, whenever and as much as you like.

Kan with an Attractive Inner Balcony

"Mikan" has an inner balcony in the middle of the room. Sit on a chair on the balcony bathed in gentle light and relax to your heart's content, whether it's drinking tea, immersing yourself in a book, or spending time as you please.

A quiet space with a study "Orange"

"Orange", which has a study, has a small balcony. This room is recommended for people who want to spend a quiet and relaxing time. In the cozy study space, you can write a letter or record your travel memories in a notebook.

"Tachibana" with sofas and a nice view

At Tachibana, you can feel the changing seasons up close. Beyond the window are lush trees and a relaxing landscape. The relaxing sofa can also be used as an extra bed.

A guest room where you can relax without worry

"Ume" and "Momo" in the photo are simple guest rooms with a semi-double-sized low bed and a writing desk. You can also melt into nature by lying down on the relaxing chairs on the Yuzu balcony.

Hot Springs

A hot spring rich in efficacy with a history of over 900 years

Itamuro Onsen is a colorless and transparent hot spring that is gentle on the skin and has been popular with women since ancient times as a medicinal hot spring, and is also known as a "hot spring for beautiful skin." The large public bath, which has an indoor bath and an open-air bath, can be reserved for a specified time (about 50 minutes per group).

Enjoy the traditional standing bath at Itamuro Onsen

The Itamuro hot springs, which have been designated by the Ministry of the Environment as a "Fureai and Peaceful Hot Spring Area" recognized for their high spring quality and rich natural environment, are fed directly from the source. There is a standing bath in one corner of the indoor bath that you can enter while holding on to a rope, so be sure to give it a try.

Cuisine

Japanese food course with local production for local consumption in mind

Dinner served in a private dining room is a Japanese course meal that makes use of fresh vegetables and seasonal ingredients grown locally and in the surrounding area. The mat laid out on the dining table has a "word" attached to it that is associated with the warm and soothing season.

Antique atmosphere bar

A counter bar with only 4 seats that you can use after your meal. The glass-walled cellar is lined with wine, local sake, shochu, homemade fruit wine, and more, so why not choose your favorite alcoholic beverage? There is also a wide selection of cocktails and non-alcoholic cocktails.

Facility

Pillow fitting room

The fitting room, where you can try out pillows in four different materials and sizes, developed jointly with a major bedding manufacturer, is popular. What's more, if you relax with the authentic beauty treatments available in your room, you'll be able to sleep soundly.

Comprehensive On-Site Facilities

In one corner of the lobby, equipped with a wood-burning stove and a custom-made sofa, there is a shop corner with glass accessories and dyed items from local artists. There are also plenty of other on-site facilities such as the restaurant "Yuzuriha", which has private tea room-style rooms, a courtyard, and a library corner.
