Hot Springs

An impressive mural painted on the entire wall of the public bath

The walls of the public bath are decorated with art plastering that incorporates traditional Japanese colors and an impressive large mural. While looking at them, let's enjoy the hot springs unique to Dogo, which boasts of being the "oldest and newest." The mural is the work of a sumi-e artist from the local Matsuyama area.

On the first floor of the hotel, there are large public baths for men and women, each with an open-air bath with its own unique garden. Of course, the hot water is drawn from Dogo Onsen, which is said to be Japan's oldest hot spring.

The breakfast served in the lounge on the first floor is a buffet consisting mainly of freshly baked bread and soup.
