"Garden Inn Sekitei" stands quietly on a hill overlooking Miyajima and other islands in the Seto Inland Sea. A beautiful Japanese-style garden that blends into the gentle slope of the mountain that stretches from the towering rocky mountain to the sea. The grounds are dotted with four rooms, and there are 12 rooms separate from the main building. The study and salon, which are hidden away from the separate buildings, give you a sense of freedom for a moment. Your heart will be touched by the calm views of Miyajima and the Seto Inland Sea, the hot springs, and the fresh seafood such as conger eel, as well as the abundance of mountain food. Enjoy a day of elegant travel, surrendering to the beautiful views and the quiet flow.

From the second floor of the main building, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Miyajima's shadow and the sea. If you flip through a book while relaxing on a daybed or rocking chair, your body will naturally fall into a slumber and your eyelids will close.

"Are Seiyama" allows you to access the private garden from the terrace of your room. The wide veranda with tatami flooring is equipped with a Børge Mogensen sofa, and you can sit and admire the scenery or spend some relaxing time in the garden, which shows off its seasonal expressions, all to yourself.

In the late afternoon, the sunlight shining through the maple leaves makes the surface of the water sparkle in the open-air bath. At dusk, the scenery changes, and the bonfires and lanterns illuminate the area, inviting you to a mysterious and mysterious atmosphere.

The bathroom is completely covered in elegant white wood from the bathtub to the walls to the ceiling, creating a refreshing space. The pleasant scent of plain wood, full of nature's blessings, will soothe your mind and refresh you.

Located at the foot of a large camphor tree in one corner of the garden, the spacious private bath is a stylish space surrounded by white wood and earthen walls. Drinks are prepared in the private salon after bathing, and you can feel the care taken.

Among the many Seto specialties, conger eel is popular, including small sardines, sea bream, flounder, filefish, shrimp, turban shells, sea urchins, abalone, and octopus. The course begins with the appetizer "conger eel samadhi" and includes a selection of items that allow you to fully enjoy the charm of conger eel.

Sekitei is so particular about conger eel that no matter how much time and space he devotes, he would never be able to keep up. Enjoy the deliciousness of conger eel rice, which has been carefully refined over 100 years of chasing conger eel.

An Atmosphere That Looks Like a Small Gallery

At dusk, bonfires are lit in the garden, and the orange light from the lanterns reflects on the shiny black, flat-tiled hallway. The white porcelain and Shigaraki ware pots from the Lee Dynasty lined up along the aisles invite you into a quiet and beautiful space, as if they were lined up in a gallery.
