River Retreat Garaku is a small luxury hotel located on the banks of the Jinzu River. The sophisticated museum-like space was designed by architect Hiroshi Naito. Two Japanese-Western rooms in the new wing's Premier Suite. The "White Cherry Blossom Room" is decorated with a white theme and is equipped with a Jacuzzi-type bathroom, while the "White Oak Room" has earth and wood textures that give a warm impression.

New Building Luxury Suite

Two Japanese and Western rooms in the new building luxury suite, each equipped with a Jacuzzi-type bathroom. "Kurumi no Ma" focuses on the natural color tones of the materials. "Soukou-ma" is a space that stands out in vermilion, and the bathroom has a dry sauna attached to it.

New Building Premier Suite with Hot Spring

Two guest rooms with hot spring baths in the new wing Premier Suite. Enjoy the Kasuga hot springs in the granite bathtub in Hibiki-no-ma, a monochrome Japanese-Western suite, and in the cypress wood bathtub in Fusa-no-ma, a Japanese-style suite with twin beds.

New Building Luxury Suite with Hot Spring

Two guest rooms with hot spring baths in the new building luxury suite. "Koika no Ma" is a space based on red quince wood, while "Genraku no Ma" has a calm atmosphere with its interior and furnishings. All bathrooms have bathtubs made of Japanese cypress wood and are filled with Kasuga hot spring water.

Main Building Luxury Suite "Kocho no Ma"

It is a spacious and luxurious space with a balcony, two bedrooms, two Japanese-style bathrooms with a Jacuzzi type and a Japanese-style bath made of Koya Maki wood, a walk-in closet, and a Japanese-style room. The flat design is also attractive, making it wheelchair accessible.

Hot Springs

Relax in the natural hot springs in two large public baths

The Japanese-style large public bath "Yudokoro" has an indoor bath with a modern atmosphere and an open-air bath made of red stone with a rustic feel. The Western-style public bath "SPRING DAY SPA" is equipped with an open-air bath, a jacuzzi, a carbonated spring, and a sauna.

Cuisine

"Rakumi" Japanese cuisine that "enjoys" the seasons

At Rakumi, you can enjoy course-based Japanese cuisine prepared using the owner's carefully selected dishes. You will be moved by each gorgeous dish, which uses seasonal ingredients from Hokuriku, mainly Toyama, and expresses the changing seasons. You can also enjoy pairing it with Toyama's local sake and wine.

French restaurant "Tresonnier"

We offer dishes unique to Tresonnier, created by fusing Toyama's local Dish techniques, which have been cultivated over a long history, with French techniques. You can enjoy to your heart's content the exquisite dishes that bring out the flavor of seasonal ingredients to the fullest.
