Long-Established Bakery Loved Across Ishikawa for 73 Years
A long-established bakery located approximately a 6-minute walk from JR Komatsu Station, offering a selection of nostalgic breads and Western-style sweets. The signature "White Sand" remains unchanged since its debut, from its retro-style packaging to the cream and bread, and has long been cherished as a local favorite in Komatsu City, Ishikawa. Other notable items include "sand bread," "brain bread," and the character collaboration "Pompompurin bread." The bakery also features "Jiwamon bread" made with local ingredients such as Rokujou barley from Komatsu. Cakes and baked goods are also available, suitable for takeout or enjoying in the eat-in space.
A Warm and Inviting Space After Renovation
Starting in October 2025, freshly baked bread at the main shop in front of the station begins to be displayed in-store from around 12:00 P.M. In addition to seasonal items, daily selections are also available, with baking times and varieties shared on social media. Visiting around midday allows for freshly baked bread to be enjoyed in the eat-in space.
Cute "Pom Pom Purin Bread"
A new product set featuring the popular "Pompompurin bread" has been introduced. Each piece, filled with milk cream and shaped like a charming, rounded form, is handmade, resulting in slight variations in appearance. The item is available in limited quantities at the main shop in front of the station and the Shimada branch.
