函館湯元花の湯

道の駅 ならは
This roadside station in Naraha Town, Futaba County, Fukushima, is a facility that combines the atmosphere of the modern "J Village" with Kido-juku on the Hama-kaido road. It is equipped with natural hot spring facilities, and the food court offers a wide variety of local gourmet food, with the "Naraha Kaisen Tanmen (ramen noodles with Stir-fried vegetables)" made with fresh seafood being the most recommended dish. The product hall has a wide selection of Naraha Town's specialties, and is popular as a souvenir or to enjoy local flavors at home.
熊ノ沢温泉
Located approximately a 5-minute drive from JR Hachinohe Station, this day-use hot spring facility is easily accessible via the Tohoku Shinkansen. The natural Koki-no-Yu spring water, drawn from a depth of around 800 metres, flows freely at 100% capacity. The seasonal scenery viewed from the open-air bath offers a particularly special experience. The spring water, known as a “bijin-no-yu” (beautiful skin bath), is rich in botanical extracts and natural moisturising components, gently warming the body to the core in a short time. A wide variety of bathing options are available, including an artificial carbonated spring bath, a low-frequency electric bath, the Be-Skin Bath (women’s area only) with ultra-fine microbubbles, and a sauna. After bathing, unwind at "Momidokoro Hogushiya", a massage corner within the facility. Locally grown, carefully selected vegetables are also available for purchase.
ホテルサンバレー那須
This hot spring resort is dotted with nine accommodations, each with its own unique atmosphere, across the vast grounds of the Nasu Highlands. Boasting a variety of hot springs surrounded by nature, it offers a hot spring zone called "Yuyu Tengoku," where day-trip bathing is allowed. There are 18 types of outdoor hot spring pools in the summer, cave baths, power baths, and more, offering fun activities for both children and adults. Located in Kitahiroshima Town and surrounded by the lush nature of the Geihoku area in Hiroshima Prefecture, this natural hot spring facility with 15 private day-use rooms opened in April 2025. Just a five-minute drive from Chiyoda Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway, it welcomes drivers and motorcyclists looking to ease the fatigue of a long journey. Room types include "Standard" and "Semi-Premium," each with indoor and open-air baths and a combined changing and rest area, as well as "Premium," which adds a sauna, cold bath, and massage chair. The private setting allows couples, families, and friends to relax while soaking in mineral-rich cloudy water, abundant in iron and gentle on the skin.
有馬街道温泉すずらんの湯
Located approximately a 15-minute walk from Kita-Suzurandai Station on the Kobe Electric Railway, this hot spring offers a garden open-air bath where you can enjoy the four seasons on a day trip. The two types of spring water they boast are natural hot spring water that springs from about 1,100 meters underground, and "Miyamizu", which is rich in minerals and is essential for the sake brewing of "Nada", and has been selected as one of Japan's 100 famous waters. After relaxing in the hot spring, you can also enjoy creative cuisine, including a kaiseki banquet.
森のゆ花神楽
A day-trip hot spring facility inside Morinoyu Hotel Hanakagura. There is an open-air bath with a view where you can enjoy the majestic view of the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range on sunny days and a starry sky at night, and the large public bath is equipped with carbonated spring, low-temperature and high-temperature baths, a sauna, and a cold bath. It is well-equipped with a rest room and is popular for its open space where you can relax. It's easily accessible from Asahikawa City Asahiyama Zoo, so it's a great place to stop by after sightseeing.
島ヶ原温泉 やぶっちゃの湯
"Shimagahara Onsen Yabucha no Yu" is a day-trip hot spring facility in Iga City, Mie Prefecture. In addition to a bath with natural hot spring water rich in minerals, an open-air panoramic bath overlooking the countryside, and a large bath that is known for leaving your skin smooth, there is also a sauna, a reclining bath, and more. There is also a free rest area and a souvenir shop with Iga's specialty products. In addition to the hot springs, there is a campsite with sites with power outlets that even beginners can enjoy, where you can relax while feeling the rich nature of the Kizugawa River. There are also plenty of activities that the whole family can enjoy, such as putt-putt golf and battery cars. Don't miss the restaurants that use local ingredients.

In addition to the lazy river, Yunessun, a hot spring where you can play in swimsuits, offers a bath with wine and other drinks. "Authentic day trip hot spring Mori no Yu" has an open-air bath with a spectacular view and a private bath, so you can enjoy a leisurely tour of the hot springs.
湯や 晴ル音
"Yuya Harune" stands in a corner of Yuno Onsen in Shunan City, Yamaguchi. They have three types of hot spring facilities: private hot springs, saunas, and large communal baths. The theme of the private hot spring is Yakushi Nyorai. "Tsubotsubo" is an open space where you can also take a bath in the outside air, with a bathtub shaped like the medicinal pot held by the Yakushi Nyorai in his left hand. In addition, the word "koukou," which represents a shining white light, is an image of the moonlight bodhisattva standing next to Yakushi Nyorai, and you can enjoy the feeling of bathing in dim moonlight even during the day. The public bath has been renovated while retaining the form of Yunoso, which closed in 2022, so fans of the old days will feel nostalgic.

"Kaizuka Ibuki Onsen Auto Campground," located approximately 10 minutes by car from the Kaizuka IC on the Hanwa Expressway, is a facility where you can enjoy a variety of experiences such as hot springs, camping, and activities in the midst of nature. At Ibuki Onsen, you can enjoy the slightly alkaline natural springs, known as the "hot springs of beauty," in an open-air bath or a private family bath, as well as a private sauna. There is a 200-square-meter auto campground that can easily accommodate two families, and plenty of indoor facilities for play even on rainy days.
