Flower Station Katashina: Hanasaku-no-Yu
Surrounded by nature, this day-use hot spring facility features an open-air bath overlooking Mount Sukai, as well as a bedrock bath and sauna for unhurried relaxation. The on-site restaurant serves dishes prepared with generous amounts of ingredients from Katashina Village. "Hotaka no Megumi Water," one of the "Oze no Sato Katashina Springs" selected among the "100 Remarkable Waters of the Heisei Era," flows within the grounds and draws many visitors from both inside and outside the prefecture to collect it.
This is especially true at super public baths, where both indoor and outdoor baths offer a wide variety of options, allowing you to have a fulfilling time at just one facility. Examples include lying baths, walking baths, jacuzzis, highly concentrated carbonated springs with artificially added carbon dioxide, and medicated baths with bath additives that are good for the body.
