Peito no Yu Iwaki Health Center
Located in Obama-cho, Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, this is a complex spa where you can enjoy a wide variety of baths, including an open-air bath where you can enjoy the changing nature of the four seasons, a herbal medicinal bath, a tourmaline bath, and a highly concentrated carbonated spring bath. しおはまの湯 四国健康村
Shiohama no Yu Shikoku Kenkomura, located approximately 10 minutes by car from Sakaide IC on the Seto Chuo Expressway, is a hot spring facility where you can enjoy a bath, sauna, and meals all day long. There are a variety of baths for men and women, and the women's bathroom has a new exclusive "Lowry sauna", where they hold daily self-lowry sessions, which are rare in Kagawa Prefecture, and Aufguss, which involves raising steam and blowing hot air through it. You can enjoy popular theater performances inside the building, and the restaurant offers local gourmet food from Kagawa Prefecture and a wide variety of drinks. The popular Shikoku Aquarium is about a 7-minute walk from the facility, and there are many tourist attractions, so why not take a bath to soothe your fatigue during your trip?
有馬街道温泉すずらんの湯
Located approximately a 15-minute walk from Kita-Suzurandai Station on the Kobe Electric Railway, this hot spring offers a garden open-air bath where you can enjoy the four seasons on a day trip. The two types of spring water they boast are natural hot spring water that springs from about 1,100 meters underground, and "Miyamizu", which is rich in minerals and is essential for the sake brewing of "Nada", and has been selected as one of Japan's 100 famous waters. After relaxing in the hot spring, you can also enjoy creative cuisine, including a kaiseki banquet.
スパリゾート雄琴あがりゃんせ
This day-trip hot spring facility on the shores of Lake Biwa features hot springs from two private sources. Guests can enjoy an indoor bath, a spacious open-air bath with Shigaraki-ware pot baths, a bedrock bath, a sauna, and a footbath. The deep-water bath is also a popular highlight. Beyond hot springs, the facility offers Japanese, grilled meat, and Italian restaurants, a theater with free popular plays, and a manga and magazine corner for all-day enjoyment. A free shuttle bus from JR Ogoto Onsen Station and Hieizan Sakamoto Station ensures easy access, making it a perfect stop to relax after leisure activities.

"Yamanami-no-Yu" is a large day-trip hot spring facility located on the banks of the Kamanashi-gawa River in western Yamanashi . Situated within "Yamanami Fureai Park"—which also features a pool, park, and tennis courts available for all ages—you can enjoy a mix of playful activities and relaxing hot spring baths at your leisure. Known as "Hot springs for beautiful skin" due to their excellent heat retention and skin-enhancing properties, the facility offers 11 types of baths, including an open-air bath, as well as a sauna, ensuring a peaceful environment to unwind.

Mifune Terrace, conveniently located about 5 minutes by car from Mifune IC on the Kyushu Expressway, is a complex facility where you can refresh your mind and body, combining a hot spring, sauna, cafe, izakaya, and hotel. The hot spring "Yugetsu" has a large bath, an open-air bath, and 3 saunas that are perfect for sauna lovers, and the bedrock bath "Hoshi" has a planetarium. "Natural Hot Spring Nanaehama no Yu" is a hot spring facility in a fantastic location right in front of the sea. The indoor bath is a free-flowing sodium chloride spring that keeps you warm, and the open-air bath with an ocean view offers views of Mount Hakodate and the ferries. The sunset time is particularly beautiful and will soothe both body and mind. The sauna is well-equipped with a far-infrared sauna, a high-temperature sauna (for men), and a cold plunge. A day-trip hot spring facility inside Morinoyu Hotel Hanakagura. There is an open-air bath with a view where you can enjoy the majestic view of the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range on sunny days and a starry sky at night, and the large public bath is equipped with carbonated spring, low-temperature and high-temperature baths, a sauna, and a cold bath. It is well-equipped with a rest room and is popular for its open space where you can relax. It's easily accessible from Asahikawa City Asahiyama Zoo, so it's a great place to stop by after sightseeing.
湯の箱 こみち
"Yunohako Komichi" is a 24-hour super sento (large public bath complex) located in Hakodate, Hokkaido. The facility features a wide range of baths, including an open-air bath, waterfall rock bath, ultrasonic bath, high-temperature bath, and dry sauna, offering natural hot spring water that gently warms the body from within. "Shimagahara Onsen Yabucha no Yu" is a day-trip hot spring facility in Iga City, Mie Prefecture. In addition to a bath with natural hot spring water rich in minerals, an open-air panoramic bath overlooking the countryside, and a large bath that is known for leaving your skin smooth, there is also a sauna, a reclining bath, and more. There is also a free rest area and a souvenir shop with Iga's specialty products. In addition to the hot springs, there is a campsite with sites with power outlets that even beginners can enjoy, where you can relax while feeling the rich nature of the Kizugawa River. Located within the Kariya Highway Oasis on the Isewangan Expressway, "Natural Hot Spring Kakitsubata" features a wide variety of bathing options, including open-air baths with free-flowing hot spring water, a mildly carbonated bath at a low temperature, electric massage baths, esthetic baths, and soothing tubs. The facility also offers saunas and a stone sauna (ganbanyoku). The natural hot spring water, drawn from approximately 1,200 meters underground, is a mildly alkaline chloride spring known for its excellent properties - it absorbs easily into the skin, helps retain body warmth after bathing, and is effective for dry skin and sensitivity to cold. With a range of relaxation spaces, the facility provides a comfortable experience for solo visitors and families alike, making it easy to spend a full day in comfort.
ホテルサンバレー那須
This hot spring resort is dotted with nine accommodations, each with its own unique atmosphere, across the vast grounds of the Nasu Highlands. Boasting a variety of hot springs surrounded by nature, it offers a hot spring zone called "Yuyu Tengoku," where day-trip bathing is allowed. There are 18 types of outdoor hot spring pools in the summer, cave baths, power baths, and more, offering fun activities for both children and adults. 熊ノ沢温泉
Located approximately a 5-minute drive from JR Hachinohe Station, this day-use hot spring facility is easily accessible via the Tohoku Shinkansen. The natural Koki-no-Yu spring water, drawn from a depth of around 800 metres, flows freely at 100% capacity. The seasonal scenery viewed from the open-air bath offers a particularly special experience. The spring water, known as a “bijin-no-yu” (beautiful skin bath), is rich in botanical extracts and natural moisturising components, gently warming the body to the core in a short time. A wide variety of bathing options are available, including an artificial carbonated spring bath, a low-frequency electric bath, the Be-Skin Bath (women’s area only) with ultra-fine microbubbles, and a sauna. After bathing, unwind at "Momidokoro Hogushiya", a massage corner within the facility. Locally grown, carefully selected vegetables are also available for purchase.
道の駅 ならは
This roadside station in Naraha Town, Futaba County, Fukushima, is a facility that combines the atmosphere of the modern "J Village" with Kido-juku on the Hama-kaido road. It is equipped with natural hot spring facilities, and the food court offers a wide variety of local gourmet food, with the "Naraha Kaisen Tanmen (ramen noodles with Stir-fried vegetables)" made with fresh seafood being the most recommended dish. The product hall has a wide selection of Naraha Town's specialties, and is popular as a souvenir or to enjoy local flavors at home.
