Traditional Culture Reimagined Through Immersive Technology
Installed in the "Information Lounge" in March 2025, the "Shukusai Ryokusai Virtual Suzume Festival" is a tourist attraction that combines tradition and technology. A touch panel allows customization of an avatar by selecting colors for the dancer's costume and mask, followed by participation in a virtual festival displayed on the main monitor.

A Relaxing Café Along the Breezy Hirose River
The adjoining cafe serves 100% beef hamburgers, craft cola, pudding, soft-serve ice cream, and other menu items for indoor dining, outdoor seating, or takeout. Open-air terrace seating is also available during milder seasons. Business hours: 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (last order at 4:30 P.M.)
A Gateway to Sendai's History, Culture, and Academia
"Aobayama Park Sendai Ryokusaikan" was built with reference to the spatial composition of the "Former Ozeki Residence of the Katakura Retainers," an Edo-period building designated as a cultural property of Miyagi. The facility also houses a shop offering local specialties and crafts from Miyagi and Sendai, providing a convenient stop for travel keepsakes and souvenirs.
