A Temple Where You Can Enjoy Seasonal Scenery and Events
It is famous for its azaleas, and about 1,200 azaleas are planted around the garden within the temple grounds, with white flowers in full bloom in the spring and beautiful deep red leaves in the fall. Additionally, the Lantern Festival, held on August 18th every year, is a popular summer event with stalls lining the approach to the shrine, and is a must-see.
Daruma Memorial Service to Make a Wish to a Daruma Doll
A "Daruma memorial service" is held every January. A Daruma doll measuring 10 to 70 cm is given to the person, and after the prayer, the wish comes true and both eyes are inserted. The approximately 10,000 daruma dolls that have been dedicated to the temple are burned while chanting sutras and making memorial services while worshipers watch on. The scene is so impressive that it is attracting attention on Instagram.

Pray for the fulfillment of your wishes at the solemn "main hall" and "bell tower"
The "Main Hall" enshrines the principal image of "Haratoshian Kanzeon Bodhisattva," which is said to bring blessings such as fertility, safe childbirth, and warding off insects, and is popular among locals. A bell tower on the shrine grounds is always on and is popular among visitors for the "Good Luck Bell," in which people put their hands together and say a wish three times before ringing the bell.
