Yugawa Village Roadside Station, Serving Aizu for a Decade

"The Roadside Station Aizu Yukawa-Aizubange", located in the Kawanuma District of Fukushima Prefecture, opened in October 2014. This unique facility is a joint project between Yukawa Village and Aizubange Town - an uncommon collaboration for roadside stations in Japan. It brings together the distinctive features of both areas in one convenient location. The station is a lively hub for both locals and tourists, offering a wide variety of regional specialties and gourmet foods from the Aizu area. Conveniently located along National Route 49, which connects Niigata Prefecture to the Fukushima-Aizu region, it serves as an easy stop for travelers and transport workers alike.
