Nakazen Sake Brewery

A sake brewery operating in Kiso Valley, which is blessed with nature.

A sake brewery founded in 1865 in Kiso Town, Nagano Prefecture. They brew about 90 kiloliters of sake a year, and instead of making the brewery large, they strive to produce sake that conveys the warmth of the brewers. Among these, we recommend the Kiso local sake "Nakanoori-san," which is made with underground water from Mt. Ontake and home-grown sake rice from Nagano Prefecture. "Naka-Nori-san" is a rare alcoholic beverage sold primarily in the Kiso area, and can also be ordered from the company's website. In addition, we have launched a new brand called "Zenkichi" and are selling nationwide. The direct sales store space will be renovated in June 2022 to promote the appeal of the Kiso area.

Cultivating the Best Rice Comes From a Conversation With Nature

Nakazen Sake Brewery says that the important thing when it comes to rice cultivation is to have fun while growing rice, and they strive to have fun growing rice while sweating and consulting with nature. Sankei Nishiki, a sake rice that is grown in-house from seedlings, is used for Junmai Ginjo and other sake, while Miyama Nishiki, grown by contract farmers, is used for Junmai Daiginjo and Junmai Ginjo.
