Konnyaku Park is a place where everyone from children to adults can enjoy themselves in a variety of ways, not just factory tours. There are lots of attractions that kids will love, such as a handmade konnyaku experience and a Ferris wheel, so be sure to visit with your family.
Since Gunma is the largest producer of konnyaku in Japan, Konnyaku theme parks, like the one introduced here, have been established in Gunma. Konnyaku Park is operated by Yokoo Daily Foods, one of Japan's largest konnyaku product manufacturers.
There are many ways to enjoy Konnyaku Park, and admission is free. The facility has so much to offer that you wouldn't think it's free of charge, and it's so much fun that you'll want to visit again and again. There is no admission fee, so feel free to stop by anytime.

The top highlight of Konnyaku Park is the factory tour, where you can learn all about how konnyaku is made.
The factory tour area at Konnyaku Park features wide passageways, ensuring that even visitors in wheelchairs can comfortably enjoy the experience. Best of all, not only is admission free, but the factory tour is also available at no cost!
During the factory tour, you can see the production line right in front of your eyes, but you can also check the detailed machine work that cannot be seen from a distance on the monitors installed. If you want to know what kind of work is being done, check the monitor.
Panels are displayed throughout the factory tour area, allowing visitors to deepen their understanding of konnyaku while exploring the factory.
It's especially recommended for children, as the explanations are presented using text, illustrations, and photos. Be sure to check out the panel that summarizes the konnyaku production process.
Konnyaku Park does not have any regular holidays, but the factory machinery is closed on weekends, so it is generally impossible to tour the factory on weekends.
However, there are special weekend days when you can enjoy factory tours. This is introduced on Konnyaku Park's official website, so if you can only go on weekends, please check it out.
At Konnyaku Park, we are holding a buffet where you can enjoy a variety of konnyaku dishes for free. Enjoy to your heart's content our delicious konjac dishes with various twists. This buffet is low in calories even if you eat a lot, so even those on a diet can enjoy it.
The buffet board is always lined with about 15 attractive konnyaku dishes. In addition to standard dishes such as simmered dishes and dengaku, we also have a variety of unusual dishes such as fried konnyaku, yakisoba using konnyaku noodles, and ramen. Let's try to compare various konnyaku dishes.

The free buffet is especially popular at Konnyaku Park, so there is a 20-minute time limit to reduce crowding. Try to bring as much food as you can eat within 20 minutes.
The buffet venue has about 270 seats in total, but it is often crowded during the day, and there is often a line, so we recommend avoiding lunchtime.
